1. Scope of this policy
This Refund Policy applies to paid advisory sessions and related informational services arranged with Greenstraineco. It does not apply to the free general content published on this website, which is available to read without charge. Where a separate written agreement covers a specific engagement, that agreement takes precedence to the extent of any inconsistency.
2. Bookings and confirmation
A session is confirmed once we have agreed a date and any applicable fee has been arranged. At that point you will receive written confirmation setting out what the session includes. We encourage you to review this confirmation and raise any questions before the session takes place.
3. Cooling-off period
Where you are a consumer entering into a contract at a distance, you generally have a statutory right to cancel within fourteen days of the agreement, without giving a reason. If you ask us to begin a service within that period and it is fully performed before the period ends, the right to cancel may no longer apply. If services have only partly been carried out at your request, we may charge a reasonable amount for what has already been provided.
4. Cancellation by you
Outside the statutory cooling-off period, the following general guidance applies to cancellations:
- More than seven days before the session: any fee paid is refundable in full.
- Between two and seven days before: a partial refund may apply to reflect time already reserved and preparation undertaken.
- Less than two days before, or non-attendance: a refund may not be available, as the time has been set aside specifically for you.
To cancel, please contact us using the details below as early as you reasonably can. We will always try to be fair and reasonable, particularly where unexpected circumstances arise.
5. Rescheduling
If you need to move a session, we will do our best to find an alternative time at no extra cost where reasonable notice is given. Rescheduling is usually preferable to cancellation for everyone involved, and we are happy to be flexible where our diary allows.
6. Cancellation by us
If, for any reason, we need to cancel a confirmed session, we will offer you a choice between rescheduling to a convenient time or receiving a full refund of any fee paid for that session. We will give you as much notice as we can and aim to minimise any inconvenience.
7. How refunds are made
Where a refund is due, we will process it using the same payment method you used originally, unless we agree otherwise with you. Refunds are normally completed within fourteen days of confirming that a refund applies. The time it then takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.
8. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations. If a service is not carried out with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of the terms set out above. If you have a concern about a service you have received, please raise it with us so that we can put things right.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in effect on the date your session is confirmed. The current effective date is shown at the top of this page.
